IN HER WORDS…
I joined Vitality because I had been wanting to find a place where I could workout, meet my physical goals and be in a positive environment. My friend Amy was already a member of the gym so I reached out to her to ask her about Vitality and I immediately fell in love with the community.
In my mind, I wanted to get the most out of my membership so I was determined to attend classes 4-5 days a week, next thing you know I was attending classes six days a week and showing so much progress. I like that as I keep exceeding my goals and I have the support of the Vitality community. The community helps to keep pushing me to improve not only physically, but mentally.
Plus, let's be honest, being the Tik Tok trend setter for the gym was really unexpected and it truly is a honor.
My biggest goal is to try and reduce my body fat percentage, but to be honest, what is more important than that is that I remain consistent and not allow my body dismorphia get the better of me. So I would say that staying in this positive environment and continuing on working on my mental health is the ultimate goal
I am extremely proud that I have been able to be a positive influence for many of the other members of the community but what makes me even prouder than that is that I am a part of a community that includes everyone and encourages everyone to be the best version of themselves.
I describe it as a gym that is a real community. The workouts are well thought out and work every part of your body, also that it's not a crossfit gym. Everyone is welcomed and accepted no matter who you are, how you look or what your preferences are, it is a community that encourages each other to be their best.
IN COACH KRISTINS WORDS…
Colette was one of those rare members that busted through the door with a ton of energy and fearlessness. She was looking for workouts that would prep her back up for future triathlons, but also wanted a big strong booty! I immediately loved this girl. She was a wild card and was the spark of fire that our AM classes needed. Colette loves getting feedback with her lifting and takes pride in her form progress and strength PR's.
Not only is she a great athlete, she has been such a big inspiration to a ton of our members by faithfully recording her workouts every morning, showing both strengths and weaknesses, and motivating our community to do the same. Yes, she is our Tik Tok Queen.
Colette really defines what it means to be a team player- setting the tone of the class, pushing her fellow crew members, and always responsive to correction. Have I mentioned that she is also our top handywoman? Oh yes, she can quite literally build ANYTHING. She's a well-rounded badass.
I cannot express how grateful I am to have met this person. I feel like she picked up on our vibe immediately and has helped maintain that. Coco, you mean the world to me. You have really helped put our morning classes on the map as the "hot times" of the week. Thank you for always being unabashedly yourself. You bring it out in all of us.
