How we choose our Member of the Month
We love our dedicated members!
During our second year of being opened we wanted to have an intentional way of showcasing the incredible people who come to VBK. We are biased, but we think we have some of the most badass people in the GNO as members of our gym. Having a dedicated member each month was our answer to this!
We look for three main things when choosing our member of the month each month:
6 Months
This one is easy, in order to be considered for member of the month a member has to have been at VBK for at least 6 months! We think half a year for sure sticks you in the “committed AF” category,
2. Attendance
Regular attendance is a huge consideration when choosing our dedicated member each month. Creating a gym habit looks different for everyone. You don’t need to come to the gym 5 times a week, we just look for consistency in attendance! A big part of attendance is timeliness. Showing up to class early or on time is highly encouraged not only for yourself but also the coach & the rest of the class to get started on a good & not frantic foot!
3. Spirit!
HOO-RAA !
Spirit to us means so many things, it’s attitude, it’s recruiting, it’s investment in the culture. Spirit is believing in what we are trying to do at VBK & being a part of making it work. Greeting and encouraging each other, pushing through when it is hard and staying positive. We look for people who folks want to go to classes they are taking!
